Privacy and Data Handling
Hailuo Downloader does not require a downloader account. A submitted public link is sent to the service to retrieve the matching page and media. Only submit an address you intend the service to process; do not include passwords, cookies or private account information.
Link processing and temporary files
Resolved source details are held in temporary server-memory sessions. Source downloads stream through the service. Conversions fetch a temporary input file and create an output file for the requested download. Sessions and converted-download links expire after 10 minutes, with expired conversion files removed by cleanup.
This describes application behavior, not a guarantee that all hosting records disappear at the same instant. Requests also pass through hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure, which can process connection and security data separately from the application’s temporary files. IP addresses are used for request limits.
Browser preferences and clipboard actions
The light or dark theme choice is stored in the browser’s localStorage. The paste and copy controls use browser clipboard capabilities when you activate them and access is available. You can paste or copy manually instead. Downloaded files are then handled by your browser and device settings.
Contact and report information
Contact and report forms store the email address, source URL and message you submit, together with a reference and submission time, for review. These reports are separate from temporary download sessions; the 10-minute session lifetime does not describe report retention. Include enough detail to explain the issue without unnecessary sensitive information.
StatInside visitor analytics
This website uses the StatInside visitor counter. Requests to StatInside include the visited page URL, referring page, visit identifiers, browser and device information such as language and screen size, and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and time on the page. Network requests also disclose your IP address to the provider.
The counter sets the si_usr_id visitor cookie for up to one year, renewed on visits, and the si_ses_id session cookie for approximately fifteen minutes, refreshed while a page remains open. These analytics identifiers are separate from the downloader’s ten-minute result sessions.
Depending on the counter configuration, StatInside can also record page content and interaction sequences for session replay, and collect browser errors. Analytics processing is separate from temporary media processing and the contact reports described on this page.
