Hailuo AI / FIELD NOTES
Hailuo to MP4
Choose MP4 source when you want the available Hailuo video as a local file. For a public Hailuo source served as MP4, the downloader streams that file without re-encoding the video. You keep the full exposed clip rather than a GIF preview or a single still.
The word “source” refers to the media available from the public page. It does not promise the creator’s project master, a higher-resolution subscription export or a file without watermarks.
Download your own work or content you have permission to save.
Download the available MP4
Some browsers display a download list, some ask where to save, and some can show media in a player. Use the controls available in your browser and check its configured download location. The service requests a file download; it does not control the browser’s final folder or whether a mobile device also adds the file to a photo library.
- Copy the public link for one Hailuo creation on a supported /share/video/ or /generate/ai-video/ path.
- Paste it into the downloader and submit the link.
- Check the returned preview to confirm the right clip.
- Choose MP4 source when that option is listed.
- Wait until your browser reports that the transfer is finished, then open the local file.
What source preservation means
No additional video encoding is applied to the source download by this service. The existing dimensions, compressed video stream and embedded content come from the available file. That is useful for preserving a reference before importing it into a separate editor, where further processing may change it.
A download cannot add detail that is absent from that file. The service does not upscale a lower-resolution clip, offer a quality ladder, or promise 1080p or 4K. A watermark that is part of the public video remains part of the saved MP4.
Audio is preserved when it exists in the source. A silent Hailuo video remains silent. The MP3 conversion option cannot create a missing soundtrack, and a failed audio conversion is not evidence that the video itself is damaged.
Prepare the clip for an editing project
MP4 is a container, so the extension alone does not establish every playback or editing property. This downloader does not rewrite an MP4 to meet a particular editing application’s requirements. If the file plays in a browser but your editor rejects it, use that editor’s format guidance rather than assuming a different filename extension will fix it.
- Keep an unchanged copy of the downloaded source before making edits.
- Play the beginning and end to check the transfer completed.
- Use a descriptive local filename and keep the original Hailuo page address in your notes.
- Save public prompt text separately if it helps explain the shot.
- If your editor needs a particular codec or frame rate, inspect the actual downloaded file before making a separate conversion.
Resolve download and expiry problems
A result session lasts 10 minutes. If a download link expires, return to the form and resolve the Hailuo page again. Keep the share address for future use instead of storing the temporary download address. Deleted, private or restricted source media may still be unavailable after a fresh lookup.
The maximum source size is 200 MB, and media longer than 10 minutes is outside the processing limit. For multiple videos, the ZIP option collects successful source files within a combined 200 MB cap. A ZIP is a transfer convenience, not video compression; choose fewer source files if their combined size is too large.
Questions about this guide
Does Hailuo to MP4 re-encode the video?
The MP4 source download streams the available MP4 file without a downloader video re-encode. GIF, JPG and audio outputs are separate conversions.
Can I choose 4K?
There is no resolution selector or upscaling feature. The public source determines the dimensions and level of detail.
Is the public prompt embedded in my MP4?
This service does not add prompt metadata to the video. Save Prompt TXT separately when it is offered.
Why does my MP4 have no sound?
The source may contain no audio track. Listen to the original public video to establish whether sound was available there.
